Giving the Gift of Hearing from Lake Forest to Fiji

“Sometimes the small things you do can mean everything in another person’s life.”

A child’s laugh is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. This is why this past October at Lake Forest Hearing (LFH), we visited Fiji and partnered with the Oticon Hearing Foundation & Project H.E.A.V.E.N. to provide hearing care and hearing aid fittings to 300+ underserved children in rural villages and schools. We also administered training to their health care staff.

At LFH, in partnership with the Oticon Hearing Foundation, we support non-profit humanitarian initiatives that empower people with hearing loss. This allows us to provide hearing care access for people and communities in need.

It was rewarding to see the children smiling and playing; while at the same time, learning how to take care of their hearing. Along with Project H.E.A.V.E.N., which is a Charitable Trust Organization, we worked together to furnish information on ear health care and child protection and to create awareness about hearing loss and how to prevent it.
